ProtoFax v3.1 includes our fastest fax engine yet!  Version 3.1 has even lower system resource usage than version 3.0 (not an easy task!)  In addition to this,  the ProtoFax v3.1 fax engine includes an intelligent 'grouping’ algorithm. 

The grouping algorithm scans the fax queue, looking for entries that are destined for the same fax number.   These faxes are ‘grouped’ and sent in a single fax call.  This eliminates dialing time, delivery time, and most importantly transmission time, ultimately saving money. 

The grouping algorithm also applies to alphanumeric pages sent with ProtoFax.  Pages that are destined for the same pager service will be ‘grouped’ and sent in a single call to the pager service.  The pages can have different PIN numbers.
